Dino’s Grocery Mart
We worked with Dino’s Grocery Mart to refresh their brand as they transitioned into a new, larger building.
the tutors
We worked with The Tutors to create a brand that targeted the high school and university age group. The bright colours were used in a poster series as well as a brochure design.
MATERIALS LIBRARY
Materials Drawing Library is a compilation of hand drafted material detail drawings with written summaries of construction applications. The book also includes documented site visits to both construction sites and production companies. The final section dissects a second prize winning design proposal for Barkman Concrete’s SKATE competition.
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS STUDENT ASSOCIATION
In 2017 I had the privilege of serving as the Graphics Rep for the Landscape Architects Student Association. One of my tasks was to create posters and handouts for Beer Night, which were spontaneous events hosted by the student union.
DAN FUR
Dan Fur is a local emerging artist in the synthwave community. In 2018, he approached me and asked me to design him a logo for his social media presence as he was starting to release some of his music. The album cover is for his second album ‘Tapered Time’ releasing in winter 2019!

POTHOLES
Potholes is one of three winning design entry for Winnipeg Design festival's #Play_Street international design competition, with the other teams heralding from Rotterdam and Michigan. The task was to create an installation that would transform the street and invite people to come and play. The design needed to be simple and inviting to users of all ages.
We created an enlarged version of a tabletop labyrinth that most people had played with as a child. The large scale required users to work together to navigate a ball around multiple 'potholes' in the labyrinth. Objects that represent the different neighbourhoods and areas of the city decorate the tabletop and created excitement for users as they become obstacles along the way.
The concept of potholes is that Winnipeg is a very diverse city with a vibrant culture and neighbourhoods. However, the one element that unites the city is the potholes that can be found on most streets.
Elevate
Elevate is the second prize-winning entry to Barkman Concrete's 2016 Skate Competition. The concept of the competition was to create an art piece that can also be 'skated' by users across all skill levels.
After working in both physical and 3D digital modelling, we developed a three-tiered ramp that appears to be growing out of the concrete. Each tier presents a different level of difficulty and allows skaters to perform different tricks. The three tiers each appear to be balancing precariously on small inverted pyramids that also appear to be growing out of the ground. Echoed in the project logo is the same inverted pyramid with the exaggerated 'V'.
The presentation board presents two renderings of the project in context and shows it in use by both skaters and observers. The board also describes the construction details and the various skate functions of the project. A 1:20 scale physical model accompanied the presentation board to assure that the concept was clear and evident.
